Account Registration and Security
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- One person may only maintain one active account

WheelShift may require identity verification for certain activities. You agree to provide government-issued identification and other documents as requested for verification purposes.
Platform Use and Restrictions
Permitted Use
You may use WheelShift to:
- Search for and purchase vehicles
- List vehicles for sale (with valid ownership or authorization)
- Communicate with other users through our messaging system
- Access educational content and resources
Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or information
- List vehicles you don't own or aren't authorized to sell
- Engage in any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior
- Attempt to circumvent our fees or payment systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from our platform
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with the proper operation of our platform
Vehicle Listings and Transactions
Seller Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete vehicle information
- Disclose all known defects, accidents, or issues
- Ensure you have legal ownership or proper authorization to sell
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding vehicle sales
- Honor agreed-upon terms with buyers
Buyer Responsibilities
- Conduct proper due diligence before purchasing
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly or arrange professional inspection
- Verify vehicle history and ownership documents
- Complete transactions in good faith
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Platform Role
WheelShift serves as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. We do not:
- Own, sell, or warranty any vehicles listed on our platform
- Guarantee the accuracy of listing information
- Act as a party to transactions between users
- Provide financing, insurance, or other financial services directly
Fees and Payments
WheelShift may charge fees for certain services. All applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur any charges.
- Listing fees may apply for premium listing features
- Transaction fees may apply to completed sales
- Payment processing fees may apply
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
- We reserve the right to change our fee structure with reasonable notice
Intellectual Property
Our Content
The WheelShift platform, including all text, graphics, logos, images, software, and other content, is owned by WheelShift and protected by intellectual property laws.
User Content
By posting content on WheelShift, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our services.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Service Disclaimer
WheelShift provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, nor do we warrant the accuracy of user-generated content.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WheelShift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:
- You may delete your account at any time through your account settings
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms
- We may discontinue our service with reasonable notice
- Termination does not affect transactions already in progress
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
